Anatomy of a Copperline roof

Five layers stand between your family and the sky. Watch every one of them go on — in order, to spec.

Built once. Built right.

Every layer photographed and signed off before we call it done.

Stage 01 — Structure

Decking, checked board by board

Everything above depends on what's below. We walk every rafter, replace soft decking, and re-nail the field to current wind code before a single layer goes on.

100%of decking inspected before build

Stage 02 — Moisture barrier

Synthetic underlayment, sealed tight

A woven synthetic membrane goes down over the whole deck — 12× stronger than felt paper and watertight on its own, so your home is protected even mid-build.

12×stronger than standard felt

Stage 03 — Water management

Ice shield, drip edge & flashing

Leaks start at the edges. We run ice-and-water shield along eaves and valleys, then hand-bend metal drip edge and flashing at every wall, pipe, and chimney line.

90%of leaks start at edges & penetrations

Stage 04 — The field

Architectural shingles, six nails each

Class 3 impact-rated architectural shingles, laid to a chalk-lined grid and fastened with six nails per shingle — the spec that holds through 130 mph gusts.

130mph wind rating, spec-fastened

Stage 05 — The finish

Ridge vent, caps & final walk

A full-length ridge vent lets the attic breathe, matched caps finish the line, and a magnetic sweep clears every nail. Then we walk the roof with you — photos included.

A dedicated crew, a site supervisor you can text, tarped landscaping, and a magnetic nail sweep every single evening.

  4. 04

    Protect

50-year material and 10-year workmanship warranties registered in your name, plus a free checkup at year one.

Word travels

Neighbors talk about their roofs.

They found hail damage two other companies missed, handled the entire insurance claim, and the crew left our yard cleaner than they found it.

Questions

Asked before every roof.

Anything else on your mind? Call us at (555) 014-7788 — a roofer answers, not a phone tree.

Most homes are done in 1–2 days of on-site work. Complex roofs (steep pitches, multiple valleys, skylights) can run 3–4. You'll get a day-by-day schedule with your quote, and we don't start tear-off unless we can dry you in the same day.

Free inspection

Your roof has an opinion. Let’s hear it.

A 40-minute inspection, photos of everything we find, and a fixed quote good for 90 days. No pressure, no phone-tree — ever.
